This is such a happy quilt! I kept thinking that the stars were celebrating. 
This quilt is a good example of using "all of my tools". I did a lot of "ruler work" to stitch in all of those diagonal ditches. I "free motioned" all of the stars. 
Sue's favorite color is polka dots. So my computer created those perfect little circles in the solid red areas and the border. 
It's my quilt top and I have always loved the colors and stars but Nancy's quilting has really added sparkle and glow to the quilt!
