Jeanette's Butterfly

Jeanette made this beauty in a class at Judy's Quilt and sew. It was fun to quilt!

Karen's Getting Old

When my sister turned 50, we gave her an assortment of at least 50 bright fabrics. This is what she made!
She wanted to keep the celebration going and collected several fun phrases about turning 50 and aging.
She might be getting old, but she's 4 year younger than I am - what does that make me?

Time Out

My grandson needed some new bibs. I got a little carried away. It was fun using the novelty fabrics!
Every day I check my milk weed for Monarch caterpillers. One day I found this guy perched about 5 feet off the ground! Wish I could have seen how he got up and down!

Jean's Twins

Quilts made with this block have shown up on my blog several times - all ladies from the same bee.
I've tried to quilt them all a little differently.
Jean divided her blocks and used them to make 2 twin bed size quilts.
This is a pantograph - Curved Greek Key - but I tried to keep it centered on each block. I like how it forms circles.

Susan's Storm at Sea

Storm at Sea can be really tricky to piece. Susan used special templates and got great results.
It is quilted with "Blowing in the Wind" with variegated thread.

Sandy's Quilt

This is going to a lucky friend of Sandy's. It is quilted with Anne Bright's "Flower Power" pantograph.
Sandy always chooses beautiful backing fabrics. Isn't this one perfect for a special friend?

Schley and Bunny's Project

Bunny collected this textiles in her travels. She wanted to make a wall quilt to display them.
Enter Schley who designed the quilt. To gain control, she decided to base everything on a 5 inch grid.
Then Schley helped Bunny construct the quilt in an intense week.

I've had the honor of quilting some very interesting quilts - but this one might take the cake!

I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Carol's Day and Night

Won't this look lovely on a bed?! There are a lot of odd shaped in this block!
Carol did a great job of selecting fabrics and constructing the quilt.

Even the backing is pretty. It is quilted with "Water World".

Sue's Beveled Blocks

Sue ordered a kit from KeepSake Quilting and added more of her own neutral batiks to make this gorgeous quilt.
The pattern was designed by Aardvark Quilts. It is custom quilted.

Lavonne's Quilt

Lavonne made this pretty, scrappy quilt for her sister.
Here's a close up of the clever pattern.

Meg's Wedding Gift

Meg made this as a wedding gift for her son and new daughter-in-law. Simple but very interesting!
It is quilted with the "Bubbles" pantograph and variegated thead.

Betty's Fish

Betty created this for her husband. They enjoy a family cabin in Michigan and she thought this would be perfect. It has lots of visual interest!
It is quilted with Ellen Munnich's "Lilies in the Water" pantograph.

Lori's Bargello

Lori made this quilt in a class at Judy's Quilt and Sew in Hampshire.
It is quilted with Jodi Beamish's "WaterWorld". Here's a close up of the beautiful fabrics!

A Change of Pace

Just in case you need a break from looking at quilts..... Here's an arrangement I made with odd plants from my garden.

Kate's Quilt

Isn't this an interesting pattern?! Kate made this for her grandson.
It is quilted with Anne Bright's "SportsBalls" pantograph.

Debby's Baby Quilt

Debby and her daughter-in-law chose these fun fabrics for a quilt for the first grand child.
It is quilted with fern meander.

Elaine's Dresden Plate

Elaine made this sweet quilt as a wedding gift for her lucky niece.

Cathie's T-shirt Quilt
