Veronica's Lone Star

Won't this look great on a bed?! Veronica did a great job piecing the tricky lone star blocks.
She loves feathers, but we felt that they needed to have some "attitude".

Don't you want some of that zebra fabric? Even the narrow strips of it vibrate!

Veronica's Churn Dash

Veronica said that this is her "millenium quilt". The green fabric says "2000" all over it. So this has been in the works for a while!
Elegant leaves are quilted in the rust stripes. Interlocking circles enclose the churn dash blocks and the border is "piano keyed".

Laurel's 9 Patch

This is such a pretty, simple, yet elegant quilt!
It is quilted with Anne Bright's "Awesome Blossom" pantograph.

Wilma's Duckies

Won't this be a fun baby quilt? Appliqueing these ducks was not an easy project! It is quilted with Ellen Munich's "Lilies in the Water" pantograph.

Ginny's Slice and Dice

Ginny got these blocks in a bee exchange. I like how she arranged them into a subtle gradation.
It is quilted with Tammy Finkler's "Pretty Posey" pantograph.

Diana's Wedding Quilts

Between baby quilts and wedding quilts, my sister-in-law has kept her machine humming.
These beauties are from Aardvark Quilts pattern called "Beveled Blocks".
This one is quilted with Jodi Beamish's "Maple Syrup" pantograph.

Doesn't this create an interesting secondary pattern. These are sofa size, but this pattern would also make a good wall quilt.
This one is quilted with Jodi Beamish's "Angel Wings" pantograph.

Mary Jo's Sampler

Mary Jo has been on a "finishing spree" this year. She made these blocks a long time ago. The color scheme is simple, but very striking.
It is quilted with Anne Bright's "Cherry Berry" pantograph.

Nina's Scrap Quilts

Nina has been busy trying to use up her calico scraps. I bet that many of you have had the same fabrics! This one is quilted with Jodi Beamish's "Daisy Swirl" pantograph.
Jessica Schnick's "Luscious Leaves" pantograph added great texture to this quilt!

Judy's Bee Challenge

Judy's Bee exchanged these blocks. You'll be seeing more of these scrap quilts in the months to come!
We quilted this one with Tammy Finkler's "Blowing in the Wind" pantograph using variagated thread.

Gina's Memory Quilt

This is second in a series of quilts made from the clothing of Gina's mom. I tried to incorporate LOTS of different fabrics. The blue fabric is flannel, making it a cozy lap quilt.

Cathie's T-shirt Quilt

In December, Cathie gave me the straightest t-shirt quilt I've ever quilted. This time she gave me the most nerve wracking t-shirt quilt I've ever quilted. This quilt was tied in it's first incarnation. The ties didn't hold with hard use so she took it apart, repaired the holes, and asked me to quilt it.
The shirts were very soft and stretchy - but it went together pretty well. The stitching should hold it together for many more years.

Beth's Quilt

Lucky Beth is participating in a "teacher exchange" program in Denmark. She made this for her host family.

Jann's Quilts

Jann has been busy making samples for Judy's Quilt and Sew in Hampshire. This quilt is made from some yummy Jelly Rolls of pastel batiks.
This quilt demonstrates a technique that Jann is teaching.

She will show you how to create these perfectly curved wedges.

Diana's Baby Quilt

Diana cut apart this adorable Moda panel and inserted alternating squares to make this quilt.
We used "Orange Crush" Minkee on the back and the "Bubbles" pantograph.

Karen's Baby Quilt

I forgot to ask Karen what pattern this is. But it has lots of movement.
The strong contrasts made it possible for me to use purple thread to quilt this busy pantograph.
The piecing pattern is strong enough to compete with the detailed quilting picture.

Karen and Sara's Wedding Quilts

More quilts in the continuing stream of wedding quilts made by my sister, Karen, and niece, Sara, for Sara's friends. This pattern is Lover's Knot.
It is quilted with Anne Bright's "Flower Power" pantograph. The photo doesn't show the lusciousness of the brown flannel backing nor how cool the teal thread looks!

The photo doesn't do this sofa size quilt justice. The blue accent fabric with the black and white prints is VERY appealing.
The backing is black Minkee fabric. The newlyweds will be fighting over this quilt!

Kathy's Hot Tamale

My sister, Kathy, is making this for her husband's 50th birthday. He LOVES to cook and he chose this fabric when she dragged him into Hancocks of Paducah.
He has no idea what has happened to it since then. It is quilted with the Pizzazz pantograph. A suitable pattern for my crazy brother-in-law!
