Joan's Quilts

Joan purchased this lovely embroidered top at an auction.  The workmanship was superb!
There were some ancient stains, but they faded when I spritzed my marks - so I'm hopeful that they all washed out.
The faded blue dots indicated that the entire thing should be cross hatched - but Joan wanted some feathers, too.

Joan pieced this star made from 30's fabrics.  It is quilted with a Baptist Fan pattern.

My Yellow and Blue Quilt

I made this quilt at least 5 years ago.  It is a log cabin variation.   Wonder how long it will be before it is bound......
2 new stockings for our new daughter-in-law and son-in-law.

Randi's One Block Wonder Wedding Quilt

This was a cooperative effort by the MCQuilters Bee.  We make a quilt for all of our kids' weddings.
First a close up of the fabric that was used on the front.
The back is as much fun as the front!

Mary's Quilts

Mary made this sweet quilt and wall hanging for her granddaughter's birthday!

Diana's Disappearing 9 patch

Diana made this quilt at our semi annual "Camp Stitchee Gume".  Now it will be a gift for a baby girl.

Kathy's One Block Wonder

Kathy made another quilt out of these blocks (see November 2011).  I love them both!

Karen's One Block Wonder

Isn't this a beauty?  I wish I had some of the original fabric to show you.

More quilts by Karen

This one is called "Magic Squares"
And this one is called "Legos".
It is quilted with bugs for a little boy.
This quilt has really happy colors.  But it makes my dizzy if I stare at it for too long.

Karen's Disappearing Nine Patch

I happened to be present when Karen was designing this quilt.  See below for how it is done.
I don't know what happened to my photo - this is beautiful royal blue/turquiose Minkee.
