One of the worst things I can imagine is loosing my sight. I've been thinking about how tragic it is for that to happen to our service men and women. 
So with the help of some other quilters, I'm making some especially textural quilts for the visually impaired. 
The quilts contain wool, Minkee, satin, chenille, and other fabrics that have a distinct feel. They will be donated to Hines Veteran's Hospital. If you would like to make blocks or donate textural fabric, contact me.
