Lori chose to use Asian fabrics to make her Dear Jane.
She stitched together several panels to create a beautiful backing.
It is quilted in a non-traditional way to match the non-traditional fabrics.
Lori's piecing is exemplary!
This is the center of the quilt. She created a secondary pattern with her color choices. Green in the center, a diamond of gold, a larger diamond of red and so on out to the edge of the quilt. I never saw a repeat of the dark fabrics!
There are a lot of "odd ball" blocks in this quilt, and somehow they make more sense in Asian fabrics.
This was a bee pass around challenge. Jill provided the fabric and the bee members created the blocks then Jill assembled the quilt. It is quilted with "Bubbles".
Don't you love the way this Broken Dishes quilt vibrates?
It is quilted with the "Blowing in the Wind" pantograph.
Isn't this an interesting New York Beauty quilt? Jill's use of color with the black and white is very striking.
