Karen's Getting Old
When my sister turned 50, we gave her an assortment of at least 50 bright fabrics. This is what she made!
She wanted to keep the celebration going and collected several fun phrases about turning 50 and aging. 
She might be getting old, but she's 4 year younger than I am - what does that make me?
Time Out
My grandson needed some new bibs. I got a little carried away. It was fun using the novelty fabrics!
Every day I check my milk weed for Monarch caterpillers. One day I found this guy perched about 5 feet off the ground! Wish I could have seen how he got up and down! Jean's Twins
Quilts made with this block have shown up on my blog several times - all ladies from the same bee. 
I've tried to quilt them all a little differently. 
Jean divided her blocks and used them to make 2 twin bed size quilts.
This is a pantograph - Curved Greek Key - but I tried to keep it centered on each block. I like how it forms circles.Susan's Storm at Sea
Storm at Sea can be really tricky to piece. Susan used special templates and got great results.

Schley and Bunny's Project
Bunny collected this textiles in her travels. She wanted to make a wall quilt to display them.
Enter Schley who designed the quilt. To gain control, she decided to base everything on a 5 inch grid. 
Then Schley helped Bunny construct the quilt in an intense week. 
I've had the honor of quilting some very interesting quilts - but this one might take the cake!

Carol did a great job of selecting fabrics and constructing the quilt.

Sue ordered a kit from KeepSake Quilting and added more of her own neutral batiks to make this gorgeous quilt.
