Gina's Memory Quilt

This quilt is made from some of Gina's Mom's clothing. It includes a sweatshirt, scarf, t shirts, pajamas, a sweater, and a silk blouse.

Ann's Fairy Quilt

My camera does not do this quilt justice. The Fairy Frost fabric is lovely! I like how Ann made the quilt assymetrical yet balanced. It is quilted with Jody Beamish's "Water World".

Michele's Mariner's Compass

Michele must love her daughter very much to be giving her this wonderful quilt that she made in a paper piecing class!
It is quilted with Jessica Schick's "Jessica's Feathers" with varigated thread.

Just feast your eyes on all of these intricate blocks!

Mary's Baseball Quilt

Mary made this for her grandson for Christmas. She chose red, white and blue varigated thread.
This Ann Bright pantograph, "Sports Balls" is great for athletes' quilts!

Celine's Quilt

Celine used a kit purchased at Judy's Quilt and Sew to make this lovely quilt.
It is quilted with Jodi Beamish's "Daisy Swirl" pantograph.

Jann's Quilts

My photo doesn't do this pretty quilt justice. It is quilted with graceful koi. You can get kits to make both of these quilts at Judy's Quilt and Sew in Hampshire.
Isn't this a fun color combination? It is quilted with Anne Bright's "Awesome Blossom" pantograph.

Pat's Petals of my Heart Quilt

This McKenna Ryan design takes lots of patience to execute!
She still needs to add embellishments - but won't if be lovely?

It's like paper-dolls for women. Lots of careful cutting - these are teeny pieces.

Pat's Teapot Quilt

The graceful teapot shapes show off Pat's extensive Asian fabric collection. The pattern comes from Kay Mackenzie's book, "Teapots 2 Applique".
She fused the pots which I quilted down with clear thread. They are surrounded by a simple frame.

The border is the same shape as the frame.

Pat's Asian Fabric Quilts

The photo doesn't pick up the richness of the gold and purple combo!
This one is quilted with a dragonfly pantograph.

I used Aurefil hot pink thread. Isn't it pretty against the black?

Pat chose an excellent fabric for her 4 patch posey. There is lots of action - not boring background. She found a different fabric for the border that compliments it all perfectly!

It is quilted with a graceful "watery" meander.

Connie's Flowered Roman Stripes

Connie's quilts are always so much fun to study! You can learn how to make this one by taking her class at Pieceful Hearts in Lisle.
This one is custom quilted with a feathered leaf border in lime green thread.

I used a feathered tulip block to quilt the squares with a subtle varigated thread.

Mary's Spartan Quilt

My sister-in-law made this. In case you couldn't guess, she and her husband are fanatical Michigan State fans. This will cover the bed in their "Sparty On" camper.
The current mascot is a super-hero-type Spartan - but my husband (also a fanatic) chose the old "Gruff Sparty" to grace the quilt.

Elaine's Wild Batik Quilt

Elaine had a lot of fun collecting and stitching this wedding gift! I forgot to ask how many fabrics she used - but it's a lot!
We quilted it with a "flat meander".
