Helen's Cross Stitch Quilt

Helen cross stitched this pre-marked quilt. Luckily, the markings were still dark enough for me to follow the predesigned quilting pattern.
She knew that she wanted puffy polyester batting and the design really pops! I wish I could see it after she washes out the blue markings!
It is fun to compare the quilted and unquilted areas. I took this photo as I was working on it.

Carolyn's Memory Quilt

Carolyn is having this quilt made for one of her granddaughters.
I wiggled in the ditch for a lacey effect, put "heart flowers" in the plain blocks, and quilted hearts in the outer border.

Lynn's Stack and Whack

Good old Stack and Whack. I love it when stitchers use the unwhacked fabric for the border.
This is a shot of the back. It is a JoAnn Hoffman pattern called Luscious Leaves stitched with King Tut varigated thread.

Shae's America the Beautiful Quilt

You might remember this pattern that was in Quiltmaker several years ago. I love it because it is patriotic without being red, white, and blue.

Cindy's "Petals of my Heart" Quilt

Cindy gets an A+ on her cutting and fusing abilities! There are MANY MANY TEENY pieces in this McKenna Ryan creation.
She will add some dimensional details like a butterfly flying toward the Spiderwort.

Mostly I traced around the pieces to hold them down. This was a challenge - remember those teeny pieces I mentioned? There are some clouds in the backgrounds. I put grass on the bottom border.

If you haven't already guessed, Cindy is a Nature Nut. So I added a happy colony of feral honeybees to live in her tree.

Bev's Fan Quilt

Isn't Bev's Stack and Whack Fan quilt lovely?

Sue's Bargello

Another bargello sister. Sue chose the "Waterworld" pantograph designed by Jodi Beamish with King Tut "DeNile" varigated thread for the center of the quilt.
And we quilted shells in the border.

Karen's Bargello

Here's another quilt from Barbara's Bargello class. It is quilted with an feather pantograph designed by Jessica Schnick.
Karen chose a varigated thread that added even more pizzazz!

Sherry's Quilts

This is one of the many Bargello Quilts made in Barbara Adkin's class at Judy's Quilt and Sew.
Barbara must be an excellent motivator as well as teacher. These are very large quilts and they always turn out very well!
A very sweet peach and sage green quilt.

Sherry must have a fisherman in her life. This is a dense overall pattern.
