Sue's Celebratory Stars

This is such a happy quilt! I kept thinking that the stars were celebrating.
This quilt is a good example of using "all of my tools". I did a lot of "ruler work" to stitch in all of those diagonal ditches. I "free motioned" all of the stars.

Sue's favorite color is polka dots. So my computer created those perfect little circles in the solid red areas and the border.

Lynne's Bargello

This reminds me of the many bargello pillows I needle-pointed in the seventies.
I had to take a close-up to show what a nice, even gradation Lynne created. It is quilted with "Blowing in the Wind".

Lory's Boston Commons

Lory whipped up this enormous quilt as a wedding gift for friends getting married on Cinco de Mayo. It is quilted with "Butterfly Ballet".
Isn't this rich? It looks like you could fall inside!

Kathy is Lost in Space!

Kathy bravely let her husband decorate new the guest bedroom (recently vacated by their son).
Since he is a "Star Wars" collector he chose an outer space theme!

Kathy made lemonade with this quilt. Anne Bright created a super pantograph called "Rocket Ship" which compliments the quilt perfectly!
Isn't this great backing fabric? Remember these ideas next time you need to decorate a bedroom for an alien!

Susan's Butterfly Sampler

This is a really interesting setting for a sampler quilt!
It is quilted with Jodi Beamish's "Angel Wings" pantograph.

Veronica's Lone Star

Won't this look great on a bed?! Veronica did a great job piecing the tricky lone star blocks.
She loves feathers, but we felt that they needed to have some "attitude".

Don't you want some of that zebra fabric? Even the narrow strips of it vibrate!

Veronica's Churn Dash

Veronica said that this is her "millenium quilt". The green fabric says "2000" all over it. So this has been in the works for a while!
Elegant leaves are quilted in the rust stripes. Interlocking circles enclose the churn dash blocks and the border is "piano keyed".

Laurel's 9 Patch

This is such a pretty, simple, yet elegant quilt!
It is quilted with Anne Bright's "Awesome Blossom" pantograph.

Wilma's Duckies

Won't this be a fun baby quilt? Appliqueing these ducks was not an easy project! It is quilted with Ellen Munich's "Lilies in the Water" pantograph.

Ginny's Slice and Dice

Ginny got these blocks in a bee exchange. I like how she arranged them into a subtle gradation.
It is quilted with Tammy Finkler's "Pretty Posey" pantograph.
